Meet some of the team



Business owner 

Tommy has been in the motor trade for the last 15 years,

He ran a smart repair van for 5 years before moving the TP Smart Repairs business to a bigger premises. Tommy gained some of his work experience and knowledge when he worked with bigger dealerships like Volkswagen and Ford.

Mark has been doing motor vehicle repairs for 40 years. He first started as an apprentice in 1983 for a BMW dealership and now works in the TP Smart Repairs body shop. 

Favourite car: Lamborgini Miura 

Favourite bike: Ducati 916 SP

Apprentice panel technition 

Joe is our apprentice panel beater which he began in 2021, He is now on his second year working towards an ATA credited panel beater qualification and a job within the industry.

Favourite car: Classic Porsche 911 Turbo

Mascot/ Cheif safety officer 

Dolly is our chief safety officer here at TP Smart Repairs, Her role includes watching over evryone in the body shop makeing sure there all working hard, eating treats and sleeping is one of her favourite hobbies in the sun.

Favourite bike: V4 S Course

Shaun is our technician and has been in the motor trade for 28 years. He specilises in hybrid and electric vehicles. Shuan first started as an apprentice for Jaguar, Then spent 24 years working at VW and in/around the VAG group.

Favourite car: Bugatti Super Sport 

Favourite bike: Ducati 899/959

Apprentice Mechanic:

Jaime is our apprentice mechanic which he started back in 2021, Jaime is now on his second year and is working towards a full lvl 3 motor vehicle qualification which he looks forward to getting trained.

Favourite car: VW Golf MK7 GTI

Andy has been part of TPSR since the start of there new venture in 2020. He has worked for many car franchises like Ford, British Leyland,Triumph, Toyota and Mazda. In 1978 he worked in the building next door which was Dutton and Forshaws at the time. Andy has built and raced an MG Metro, A Renault clio and has also raced a porche over the years. Now helping to run Honda Integra in the CSCC race meetings and a Honda 600 motorbike at track days. You could say hes a little obsessed with motor sport.

Apprentice Panel Beater

Callum is our new panel beating apprentice starting his first year of the course. He has a big interest in the motortrade especially in the bodyshop sector. Callum has joined us straight from school and enjoys a good challenge.

Ben is another one of our technicians and has been in the motor trade for 5 years. He specialises in VW vans commercial vehicles, euro 5 and 6 tdi engines. Ben first started as an apprentice for VW commecial.

Vehicle Damage Assessor

Glenn has been in the motor trade for around 25 - 30 years and started out as a Body fitter at the Chesham car body repair centre. He then moved on to Perrys Aylesbury continueing on as a body fitter and shortly after as a vehicle damage assessor. Glenn likes motorsports and used to race short circuit hot rod. He also has a Mini R50 as a weekend project car.

Prep and Painter

Owen has been in the motor trade for 5 years were he started out at a repair garage. He mainly does the prepping side of things here which he enjoys, although he is looking foward learning new skills with us at TP.
